Commercial Lighting Controls – Project Manager

The Role

You will be responsible for managing commercial lighting control projects from initial request for submittals through project closeout. Activities include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinating construction schedules with the customer
  • Coordinating with the quotes team, sales team, lighting team and customers to ensure we have the full and latest information required to provide an accurate bill of material and submittal package
  • Reviewing change requests and coordinating pricing changes with customers
  • Triaging returned submittal comments and coordinating with our in-house applications team for information required to revise
  • Responsible for coordinating release of projects once approvals and final PO’s are received. Working with the factories and customer to provide lead times, estimated ship dates, tracking information and expediting orders as required
  • Coordinating responses and calls as required to provide clarification on any installation or technical questions during submittal to close out of the lighting control project
  • Coordinating with field service to schedule all service visits that may take place before, during and after programming. Making sure the field service team has all information needed to successfully program the project. Relaying information back to the customer during all field service visits including startup and making sure any and all issues coming up during the site visits are addressed/resolved to close out the project

What We Are Looking For

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Understanding of electrical drawings, preferred but not required. Willing to train the right candidate
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication and analytical/critical thinking skills
    Prior industry experience preferred but NOT required. We will provide on the job training
